The class received $1,000 from New York Space Grant to develop a balloon experiment testing tethers for CubeSats. The class also holds the record for number of STK certified students (see AGI's visit picture) (see blog article from AGI).

 

Nano-spacecraft for Earth Science (Spring 2012) :

New course open to TAVD previous students, and students from Physics interested in designing small LEO satellites.

this offering of TAVD received a gift from the National Space Grant Foundation to work on a Higher Education Project from the NASA's Exploration System Mission Directorate, titled "ISS as a Nano/Micro Satellite Base".
